[/vc_column_text] [vc_column_text] Mathematics is a subject that is still considered difficult for most students, even though this subject is a subject that is classified as important to be understood and applied by students in supporting other subjects in schools. One way that can be done so that students have a high attraction in learning mathematics is to make mathematics simpler and more real in everyday life. In addition, the provision of material and practice questions should also be arranged in a fun form so that students can feel more enthusiastic in learning. Therefore the learning method of game based learning can be tried to be applied as a solution.

With this purpose and purpose, the Team of the Telkom University Industrial Engineering Study Program lecturer which consists of Hilman Dwi Anggana, S.Sc., M.Sc. and Nopendri Zulkifli, S.Si., M.Sc and several students held a socialization activities for the use of board games as learning aid for elementary school students at the Al-Hadiyyin Orphanage Foundation on Thursday, July 4, 2019 Some board games that are socialized include snake ladder games that are equipped with applicative SD mathematical questions, an hour-off game accompanied by numbers, and others.

The learning system while playing in this socialization activity, divides students in 4 to 5 groups based on class levels in their schools. Each group will be guided by 2 older siblings who participated in this activity. Each member in the group must answer questions in accordance with the results of the destination number running This is intended so that students have high desires and enthusiasm in learning.
