Journal of Sinta and Journal of Scopus are two types of journal databases that are popular in the field of science. Both have differences in terms of understanding, standards, scope and reputation. Although both become a database for scientific journals, basically there is a difference between Sinta Journal and Scopus Journal .

Journal of Scopus 

While the Journal of Scopus is a database that meets the standards and reputation of international journals.  

If the Sinta journal is a national library database, then Scopus is a database for international journals that have a reputation.  

To see the reputation of international journals can be seen from the researcher's performance.  

Scopus as a database is owned and managed by one of the publishers of scientific work named Elsevier. 

At present Skopus has more than 22,000 scientific journals in various fields. 

What's the difference? 

The following are the main differences between Sinta Journal and Scopus Journal, namely: 

Journal coverage 

To assess the differences of the two types of journals can be seen from the scope side. Sprott journal is enough to discuss content about local/national, while the scopus journal is thoroughly scope.

So that local journals and national journals that have not been accredited cannot enter. More effort is needed so that journals can be published and accredited.  

As for the journal SCOPUS must meet a number of standards so that the quality of the journal is guaranteed. The reputable journal is to meet the criteria so that it can enter the Scopus database. 

Journal Standards 

The Sinta and Scopus journal must have high standards to be loaded. The main cause of why the journal has not been indexed is that it has not met the standards in order to enter the database.  

The Sinta journal uses the standard of accreditation from Arjuna and Sitasi, which is valid for 5 years. Meanwhile, to be able to enter the scopus data must have a high standard and high reputation. 

Basically Sinta Journal and Scopus journal into a database. The difference lies in the level, namely national and international.
