[vc_row] [vc_column] [vc_column_text] Telkom University represented by Telkom University Industrial Engineering Lecturers (LITASARI WIDYASTUTI SUWARSONO, ATYA NUR AISHA and FIDA NIRMALA NUGRAHA) to hold community service activities for teachers of Early Childhood Education and Child Parks in Bandung Arcamanik District on May 30, 2022 Workshop with the title: "Alfa generation, are we ready?" . This activity aims to provide insight about differences in the characteristics of children they educate today with the previous generation and problems and alternative solutions that can be done. It is expected that by understanding the characteristics and problems of the alpha generation, the teacher will be better prepared to make changes in the attitudes and learning methods that are different from the previous generation.

There are several methods carried out in this workshop. The lecture and simulation method uses metaquest , and tool coaching from Points of You © and the discussion method is used to provoke a new point of view. The training was attended by 46 participants and was also attended by the sub -district head and related officials at PGTK Arcamanik District.

Based on the results of the discussion in the field, the teachers already have an overview of the characteristics of the alpha generation who are their students, it's just that it needs more directed teaching preparation to support the learning process, including by utilizing technological support, social support, and paying attention to the uniqueness of the child's condition. The results of the feedback evaluation show a positive response from the participants of the activity related to the benefits of community service activities. Through this community service activity is expected to support the strengthening of the learning process at the education level of early childhood.
