Households are one of the largest organic waste producers in Indonesia with an average of 1.6 kg of organic waste per day, per household and only 49.2% of households that manage their waste into something useful. One of the uses of organic waste is by composting. In its development, the process of making this compost has used technology so that the manufacture is easier. One of the RWs in the city of Bandung that currently gets a garbage chopping machine grant is RW.08 located in the Sapta Taruna PU complex. At present RW.08 has 2 units of garbage chopper, which is given directly through the Kujangsari Village. The waste management process carried out by RW.08 residents is currently by sorting organic and inorganic waste at the household level, so that it makes it easier for RW.08 cleaning staff to separate waste based on its type. With the existence of these 2 garbage chopping machines, it is expected that the management of waste in the RW.08 environment can be more optimal and can also reduce the volume of waste carried to the landfill. For this reason, there needs to be a waste management program both organic and inorganic waste so that people can better use waste especially for making compost, as maggot feed, and also take the economic value of inorganic waste such as plastic bottles that have been carried out.
