PKM Digital Marketing Training Processed Tempe Products for Pesantren Arafah Mukapayung Village, Kec. Cililin, Kab. West Bandung.
Industrial Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Industrial Engineering, Telkom University has carried out community service programs (PKM) in collaboration with Islamic boarding schools in West Java which focuses on increasing production activities for Islamic boarding schools. The PKM activity this time was carried out for the Arafat Islamic Boarding School, which was in West Bandung Regency in the August - November 2021 period.
Arafah Islamic Boarding School is located on Jalan Rancapanggung, Mukapayung Village, Cililin District, West Bandung Regency, West Java 40562. 30 km from the southwest of Bandung City, with an area of 2 hectares of pesantren complex. Arafat Islamic boarding school has a large enough human resource to produce processed tempeh products. According to the Chairman of the PKM Team, Yudha Prambudia, Ph.D., the purpose of this program is to assist the Arafat Islamic Boarding School in building and developing tempe chips business units which are local products that are very potential to develop. The business unit led by Mr. Rahmat Santoso, will be beneficial for pesantren as a source of active income and also as a means of developing the skills of students so that they are able to develop the tempe chips independently.

The activities carried out can be divided into two parts, including; (1) Early survey and training planning, (2) ICT -based online marketing training. The initial survey and discussion was conducted in advance to determine the needs and specifications of the machine based on the production of ant sugar production process in accordance with the condition of the Arafat Islamic Boarding School. The process was then continued the process of selecting training topics related to digital marketing.
The first training topic delivered by Rio Aurachman, ST, MT, was about the opening and management of the Bukalapak Marketplace Seller Account. While the second topic was delivered by Meldi Rendra, ST, MT, related to packaging design for digital marketing.

Besides being attended by the students of the manager of the tempe chips business, the training was also attended by the leaders of the Arafat Islamic Boarding School, including Mr. Ustad H. Agus Ishak. Both the PKM Team and the Pesantren leader hopes that this training activity can have a positive impact on the development and sustainability of the Arafah Pesantren Tempe Chips. Even wider expectations, this tempe chips business provides broader benefits for the surrounding community. In accordance with this expectation, stakeholders or other relevant stakeholders and can help develop the business activities of the Arafat Islamic Boarding School, such as the Village Head, Youth Organization and Association of Ant Sugar Craftsmen, so that it can be part of the Arafah Pesantren Tempe Islamic Boarding School Business Ecosystem.
